The shoulder padded 80’s have gone away, (thank God), and women realize
they no longer have to lose their feminine side in order to gain the respect
they deserve. This attitude has illustrated itself in the soft styles
with a sexy-hard edge seen in clubs, in the cafés and strutting
down Newbury Street.
Men are finding themselves shoved to the side, no longer needed for protection. The timid little girls of our mother’s generation have confidence, ambition and have not only retained their femininity, but are embracing it and celebrating it.
