Tim Kennard - - Photographer, Writer, Graphic Artist.
People usually like to know something about you before working with you, so I decided to put a little about me here. I came to Boston in 1996 and started Bostonfashion.com three years later. Bostonfashion.com grew quickly and I had the good fortune of establishing myself in the Boston fashion community, winning a Vision award from the Fashion Council, becoming the fashion editor for the Boston Metro newspaper, a contributing fashion editor for the Newbury Street Guide, a fashion show producer and a member of the Vision Council. My approach to photography is an aim to capture the each subject as only they or it can be. Each subject is unique and individual at any given moment. When shooting a model, I try to bring out what's most beautiful in her, specifically, when shooting a wedding, I find the special shots that only exist for a moment and only for that couple, even when shooting a simple headshot, caputuring that actor's personality is what's most important. Kids are some of my favorite subjects. They don't pose, unless forced, (and it shows), so I let them be themselves. There's nothing more pure than a big natural smile on a child and that ends up being the photos their parents cherish for a lifetime..." |
