On May 15th Polina Fashion hosted Fashion for Darfur. Part of Couture Thursdays at Felt Nightclub this benefit brought together fashion to bring awareness to the dire situation in the devastated Sudanese region of Darfur. The night featured designs from Anne Reagan, Raam Raj, Harper of Seams and Hempest. Each designer showcased their clothing throughout the four levels of Felt. There was a live musical performance from Split Infinity. Journalist Donatella Lorch was the guest speaker educating the crowd about the atrocities in Darfur. The speech concluded with a video presentation on Darfur and the Humanitarian relief efforts. Proceeds went to benefit Oxfam America, Genocide Intervention Network and The Massachusetts Coalition to Save Darfur.
