On Saturday September 8th Boston Design Laboratory put on a fashion show. Fashion Designer and founder of (BDL), Shirley Willett presented 50 years of vintage couture. Teresa Crowninshield showed her contemporary coats made from silk and cashmere. Following Teresa were 5 student designers. And Ilma Paixao of Handeira Linens & Lace capped the night off with hand made, one-of-a-kind lace pieces created by women of Brazilian indigenous tribes.
